Good Afternoon!
Today is the second day of band. The students are doing a great job of getting themselves ready for lessons on time.
When the student has a band lesson, they are expected to quietly get their things together and walk to the band room. When their lesson is done, they are to return to class, ask a classmate what they missed, and join in with our current activity. Band students are required to make up any missed work. The band schedule rotates. Students miss a different 30 minutes each week, usually missing the same 30 minutes every 5-6 weeks.
We also had student council elections today. 6 students ran for representative and alternate. They all gave amazing speeches. Congratulations to all those that ran and to our 2 class winners.
Homework:
Reading: Read 20 minutes every night
WTW packet (both sides) due Thursday
Literacy packet (all pages) due Friday
Math: POW (Out to space) due Friday
Both the problem and the rubric are on my class webpage.
