What a day! Our time just flies by.
I had the opportunity to read one-on-one with several students today, resetting their reading levels and making goals for improvement. That is one of the highlights of my job...seeing the excitement in a child's eyes when they have moved up several levels and they can see and hear the difference in their reading.
In math, we are doing a bit of reorganizing. I was happy with today's lesson and hopeful that we are onto a good system.
Tomorrow if our field trip to Robert Crown Center. Students will eat lunch and have recess earlier than usual. We will leave Schiesher at noon and arrive back at approximately 2:30.
Today's homework:
Reading: Read 20 mintues daily
Literacy Packet due Friday
Math: Preview 2.3 due Thursday
Math 2.1 and 2.2 worksheet due Thursday
POW due Friday
Signed parent letter and test due Friday
Social Studies: Atlas due tomorrow
Have a great night!
For our POW to figure out the decimal can we use a calculater or should we actually do it?

AD - Which POW problem? Batter Up or Decimal Garden? I don't have copies here at home to refer to. Sorry. So - without looking at them, I would say do the math manually and then check it on the calculator. If your work is wrong, then you can at least go back and find your error.
ReplyDeleteTomorrow we can talk more specifically, if you prefer.
