Happy Monday!
Even though it is cold outside, the sun is shining so it is a good day! The students had the option of indoor or outdoor recess today. My class seemed fairly evenly split between the two options.
We are heading into a busy time.
DARE persmission slips due tomorrow. We begin DARE on Wednesday.
Science Fair topics due Friday. Remember that your topic must be posed as a question. If you need an additional form, they are linked both on my webpage and the 5th grade webpage.
Students should have keep their resources for their Career Project at school. We will be working on it for one rotation a day for the next two weeks. If they don't have the materials here, they are not able to complete the work!
MAP testing is Wednesday (homeroom). This week is Reading; next week is Math.
BAND is tomorrow.

Language Arts:
Read 20 minutes daily. Are you keeping up with the 30 book challenge?
WTW homework due Tuesday.
Resources for research paper must be in school tomorrow!

POW due Friday. It is linked on my webpage if you need an additional copy.
Preview 4.4 due Wednesday.
Math Masters page 114 due Wednesday.
Social Studies:
Atlas due Friday. I will give it to you on Wednesday, as usual.

I will be needing particapants because I will need 3 groups of three girls. Each group gets a different color. One will get black. Another random. The other trend colors ( red=danger, etc.) I will write dates of history and give it to the girls to study, they will take a test once they think they memorized the dates. Z.H.
OK - Sounds very interesting. How will you test them? What exactly will they get - a paper with words? pictures?
