Hi I was wondering about the writing homework i was having trouble with it yesterday and i am not sure if it would match my career ( VET) THis is what I did . A vet is like a band aid because it heals anything it touched . LT
ReplyDeleteLT - Yes, I remembered at the end of the day that we were going to go over that.
ReplyDeleteSo - a simile is making a comparison using either "as" or "like". An example would be "as swift as a fox" or "as bright as the son."
Can you think of a characteristic of a vet...loyalty, courageous, dedicated...something like that. Then think of an object or animal that has the same characteristic. Then you can compare them.
It is OK if it is not done tomorrow. You can have the weekend, if you need it.
