Career Fair News:

Dear Parents,

We are putting the final touches on our career projects and getting ready for our Career Fair this week.  Everyone worked extremely hard on their creative technology projects, and we can’t wait to see their final products!

On Thursday, February 21st and Friday, February 22nd the 5th graders will be participating in the first annual Career Fair.  The Career Fair will be like an open house for all the other 5th grade students and staff to come and view their technology piece which tells all about the research they completed to learn more about their future careers.

On the day your child’s homeroom class is presenting they will need to do their very best to dress up like someone that has their desired career.  Students also may bring in props to further explain their job roles and responsibilities if they want to.  With that being said, please keep in mind if your son or daughter is a police officer or any career that requires them to carry a weapon of any kind they will NOT be able to bring in a toy version of any type of weapon.

See below for the attached schedule for which classes are presenting when.  Thank you for your support!

Sincerely,

The 5th Grade Team

Thursday, February 21st – Miss Bonder & Mrs. Lapham

Friday, February 22nd – Mrs. Potempa & Mrs. Sutton
