  2. DL - The options that come to my mind are guess and check, make a table or use manipulatives. You would have to draw a picture of your manipulative example if you use that one.

  4. LR - - sorry. just got done with piano lessons. Of course, show all your work and you always get credit for the work you have done.

So - remember to set the problem up so that K is the variable. Write each person based on that. I don't have it here - -but someone is 4 more than Ken so that would be K + 4 and so on. Then add up the equation you have and see if you can solve for 45.

  5. For the wetlands project, can you comment or put a link to pictures of each side of what it's supposed to look like?

Front is the title, slogan, fact and illustrations...however you want to design that. Inside is like a table with headers for each wetland (forested, emergent, aquatic and shrub. scrub). It does not matter which order you list the information about each but you need description, animals, insects and plants for each.
On the back, simply divide it in 4 sections, add you pictures and labels.
Add whatever embellishments you want to make it look nice or add extra information.
    Does that help?

I don't have a copy at home. Sorry. Does the handout tell you any specifics about the insects or is it all generalizations? I can't remember?
You can either wait for that section until we can talk at school or use the information from the packet to the best of your ability....whichever you believe is the best option.
