  2. BP I thought I tried yours today and it worked.
Try your first name with no space and then the first initial of your last name. If it doesn't work, we will fix it at school on Thursday in computer lab.

  3. On the correction POW, is the trim on 1 room if it is then which room or is the trim on both of the rooms? Also, how do I add 7.25% to my total?

  4. BP = just to be sure - you should add trim to both the bedroom and the closet.
To add tax, you can multiply by 0.0725; that is the same as 7.25%.

    1. My answer is in the $100s place and I don't know what I did wrong. I figured out their area and then add them together. Next, I figured out how much is the cost for the flooring. Then, I figured out the perimeter and add them together. After that, I converted the door into feet and multiplied it by 3 and subtracted from the perimeter. Then, I figured out the cost of the trim. Lastly, I figured out the cost of the new flooring and trim with the 7.25% and my answer is in the $100s. I doubled-checked and I have no math mistakes. If I'm missing a few steps, can you tell me? Thank you.

the only step it appears you may have skipped is adding 10% to the flooring.
My answer is in the 100s place as well.

Please don't worry about your grade. You are doing fine. I am more concerned with what is confusing you in the POW.
We can look at it together and I will give you extra time to finish.
